In short: this site sets no tracking cookies until you press "Accept", sells your data to no one, and has no accounts, payments or newsletter.

The site www.marevasile.ro is run by MARE AURELIAN PERSOANĂ FIZICĂ AUTORIZATĂ (the "controller"), who decides what data is collected here and why.

What happens when you write to us
The form asks for your name, e-mail address, the instrument you are interested in and your message. These go to the workshop's e-mail, sent by the Resend service, and are also kept in an internal panel where the violin maker keeps track of enquiries. The panel is an application of ours, hosted at Cloudflare, which only the violin maker and the site administrator can open, with a password. Your name, address, country, message and our replies stay there so the conversation is not lost among mailboxes. They are not used for anything other than replying to you. We do not sell them and give them to no one for their own purposes — the only parties that touch them are the providers listed below, who help deliver and keep the message.
You also receive a copy of your message at the address you entered, so that you keep a record of your request. The copy contains only what you wrote in the form and is sent through Resend as well. If you receive such a copy without having filled in the form, someone typed your address by mistake: you do not need to do anything, you have not been added to any list and we will not write again.
Lawful basis: you wrote to us, and answering your message is the very purpose you filled in the form for. We keep the conversation in the panel and in the workshop's mailbox for as long as it lasts and a reasonable time after, so we have the history if you come back. If you want your conversation deleted from the panel, write to us and we will delete it.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks whether the request comes from a person or a robot. The check starts in your browser, and on submission our server confirms the result with Cloudflare, passing your IP address along. Turnstile does not gather data about you for advertising.
Cookies and what is stored in your browser
Until you press "Accept", the site sets no tracking cookies. This is not a polite phrase: our own code writes no cookie, and Google's code is not even loaded into the page before you agree. Fonts and images are served from this domain, not from someone else's servers, precisely so that this holds.

Videos are loaded from youtube-nocookie.com and only when you click them. Until then you see a still image, and YouTube learns nothing about you.
Who helps us run the site
We do not do everything ourselves. These are all the providers that touch any data of yours, what they do and where they are:

All three are United States companies, so data may leave the European Union. The transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Their policies: Cloudflare, Resend, Google.
What we do not do
- There are no user accounts and nothing is sold online on this site.
- We process no payments and never see card details.
- We have no newsletter and send no automated commercial messages.
- We place no social network pixels and run no tracking-based advertising.
- We do not sell, rent or exchange your data with anyone.
How to withdraw your consent
The "Cookies" button in the footer of any page opens the choice box again. You can change your mind at any time, and declining is as simple as accepting — one click, with no hidden steps.
If you decline after having accepted, we delete the _ga cookies already set
and reload the page, so measurement stops immediately — not from your next visit.
Your rights
Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. Write to us at marevasile.lutier@gmail.com and we will reply.
